The colloquial term Mon Pote is French, meaning ‘my friend’.
Established online in 2014, Mon Pote independent homewares shop has a passion for Scandinavian interior design and has built a long-standing reputation for curating the best in homeware brands from the UK, Europe and worldwide, paying particular attention to the craftsmanship and ethos behind the brands they select with a focus on their sustainability and impact on in environment.
Mon Pote approached us to give their web presence a makeover.
One of the first things we needed to approach was improving the website architecture and optimising the navigation and layout of content to improve the user journeys.
It was also key to improve the mobile experience, which had previously been overlooked. As the majority of Mon Pote's audience was browsing from mobile and with this set to only increase, it was fundamental for us to optimise the user experience here.
Overall, we wanted to align the brand with the in-store experience so gave the designs a freshen up, increasing image sizes while reducing and optimising their file size to increase load speeds and improving the layout and styling of elements.
